This is an open-format club that encourages crafters and entrepreneurs to bring in their projects and plans. As well as bounce ideas off each other.
Got a small business developing products to sell? What about a crafting YouTube channel? Do you like to paint for fun? Do you animate for videos? How about a Foley artist? Are you just bored and got nothing to do?
The DMS is starting a new club for makers and artists. The open session is more of a show and tell session, ideas trade and hook up for collaboration. This club is hosted in combination with the other “Makers Guild” labeled programs, though attendance to the other programing is not required!
A cautionary tale to those to attend - don’t talk the energy out of your ideas.
Some examples of maker mediums and artists are (but not limited to) - Electrical soldering, programers, woodworking, leather working, fiber arts, seamstresses, costume makers, 3D printing, welders, metal workers, metalsmiths, prop makers, jewelry makers, toymakers, screen printer, sculptors, painters, screen printers, digital artists, traditional artists, texture artists, sound designers, animators (2d and 3d), sound designers, 3d environment artists, video game developers, engineers, designers, excreta.
