Meet with attorneys from Prairie State Legal Services during our Lawyers in the Library event. They can answer questions about a variety of civil legal matters. Registration is required through PSLS.

Attorneys from the Joliet Office of Prairie State Legal Services will be available on site to meet with individuals seeking guidance on a range of civil legal matters. This may include questions about housing, family issues, benefits, consumer problems, and other non-criminal concerns. If you are currently navigating a legal situation without representation or simply need direction about your options, Prairie State may be able to assist.

Participants must register directly through Prairie State Legal Services by using the “Register” button on the event listing, which directs them to PSLS for the full intake process. After registering, attendees will meet with an attorney during the scheduled program time at the library.
